Namibia - One of the four countries on the African Continent that we traveled from 2 a 23-4-2015

This was not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but a full constellation hotel and it was reasonably priced for our purses. When night came, we had the celestial vault giving a show that made us rethink our true dimension and that of the Universe.

But I'll tell you what I felt in this country...

Parked under a shade, not an awning, not a hotel terrace! But in our hotel with residents of different nationalities, around ten, not speaking the same languages, although Portuguese is the predominant language. As if that were important... The important thing for everyone was singing, cooking, eating, dancing, so much in common...

Harmony is always present, despite the always-spoken differences of nationality. In this constant mixture of rational animals and wild animals, everything was harmonious...

Time to eat and everything is ready to wash the dishes.

Me in the middle of two birthdays who on their respective days were entitled to a birthday cake and improvised gifts. João Vicente, Alexandre Costa, Maria João Mota, Ilidio Catarino, Glória Vilar, Rute Lóio...

We went for a walk accompanied by a busquimane guide, when we returned our tents were in this state, we tidied up our rooms. Sorry, actually Suites. We got out of bed, turned on the flashlight to see if there weren't any 4-legged eyesore and with our tails aloft, we relieved ourselves and carefully flushed the toilet, that is, we covered the hole previously made with sand and cleaning as well, but washing our minds with the spectacle. heavenly...

he guide who accompanied us on a walk, at a certain point stopped and with a small log lifted the lid of a hole that was on the way. When walking in the desert with a keen eye and knowledge, you can see small spots that are spider marks with a high degree of venom. They make a web to which they glue the sand and we have the cover that are their refuge and security. When we walk, we produce a sound that reflects our weight and thus predicts their need for protection or the possibility of food. Lift the lid, enter, close it

and descend to a depth of one meter. The survival we all fight for in our daily lives...

In this village near South Africa, on the Woordoewer border, our guide explained to us how brandy is made in this improvised alembic...

But others with greater refinement, bring the glacier and delight in the sunset, enjoying a glass of wine. Live the life!!!

Fish River Canyon....

-Do you serve lunch?

- Yes, we serve excellent meat! But right now we are enjoying our break!

It could only be with a smile like that stamped on their face and radiating joy that they let us record...

A woman from the Himba tribe not resisting modernism. The needs we have to satisfy, but without exaggerating...

- "Thirst, a vital need to satisfy, which kills my limbs..."

- "After a race, I don't know what behind! Now I have to rest. My visibility is poor. But this restful rest..."

- "I'm tired of walking but I can't find a partner or the love of my life. And how do I nurture these needs?"

These nests are a cooperative between tiny birds and bees. Excellent union, so the small reptiles move away because the bee army, are the watchful guard of the birds...

Gnus protecting themselves from their predators...

Wasn't a careful...

Distracted photographers...

FREEDOM, is a sacred word that everyone covets...

A meerkat that played with Maria João

Wordless...

At daybreak...

Usually these nests are of the orioles, also known as the weaver bird.

This bird builds the nest, invites a female, she sees the house. If it doesn't have the necessary accommodations (dishwashers and washing machines, television and other comforts), it leaves, and it will have to make a new nest until it finds its nest soul...

Our guide and truck driver, Jojo. My sincere thanks to him.
